Showers
Awake in the sky’s spring washing
The streets ripple laughter, and
Raindrops collect in puddle chuckles,
Birds joining chorus.
The wet world basks
Waiting wonder fresh
As weary winter limbs stretch
Facing up
Towards the splash.
