  • You’re never too “big” or too busy to plug into a local church and be discipled; be willing to ask God how this needs to look for you in each season.

  • We’re all entrusted with something. Rather than focusing on the specific gifting or favor that someone else has, ask God: What favor/gifting have you given me, and what should I be doing with it?

  • The most meaningful things are worth taking responsibility for. Be a joyful warrior for what you love, starting with Christ.

  • You can’t take a shortcut to wisdom. You have to humble yourself before God, apply yourself to His knowledge, and be willing to suffer.

  • You can “be” free and not “live” free. Read Galatians, and purpose to live free. Freedom is a Covenant with God that touches your past, present, and future.

  • Your proactive obedience to God’s call isn’t just about you. It will mean breakthrough for others. Be the reason someone else gets a little closer to Christ.

  • Look carefully for areas of your life where you’re letting the culture tell you what’s smart rather than God—and shift your focus back on Him. Preach and live what the Bible says, not what the world thinks it says.

  • When you truly surrender your “why” questions to God, He will make sure you get the answers you need in time.

  • The best way to love and serve people is to confront evil, proclaim Truth, and call for repentance and salvation.

  • It’s not on us to make something worth it; we continually rely on God and receive perspective and guidance from Him on how to steward our callings.

  • Don’t run from the big, bad influences shaping culture. Focus the Truth there! Live boldly; rise to the challenge to speak Truth without fear and pray with unwavering faith.

  • Trust the inheritance God is saving for you, even if you don’t see it on Earth.

  • The mental fortitude you’ll need for chaotic moments is built in daily submission to the Lord.

  • We’re not saved by our good works; our good works are enabled by the One who saved us and gives us a part in His good purposes.

  • No matter who or where you are, if you have the Holy Spirit, you can change the world. You just have to lay down your right to be rewarded in the way you think you deserve.

  • Don’t pursue debate for its own sake but in order to shine the Light in dark places.

  • Every decision leaves a mark on your soul. Mark it over and over in Christ’s direction. Faith is a seed that must be watered in order to grow.

  • Even when we feel our anger is justified, we must give it to the Lord because it’s a burden we weren’t made to carry outside of Him. Man’s anger never brings about the righteousness God requires or the solutions we long for. Only surrender to Christ allows His power to flow through us.

  • Jesus Christ isn’t about dismantling systems as much as He is about reviving hearts. Systems begin to crumble when they lose their power over people, and that happens when people are born again and begin to live as new creations in Christ.

  • When we say, “God’s will be done”, we’re not claiming to enjoy hardship; we’re acknowledging and embracing God’s greater plan and great mercy even in tragedy.

  • We can and should stand in support of God-ordained institutions even if we haven’t personally experienced them because they serve God’s greater plan and form the foundations of the civilization we benefit from.

  • Husbands and wives aren’t rivals keeping score but one flesh working together for God’s glory; our strength is found in our God-designed roles.

  • Be what you need from others. Be a leader worth following. Don’t just teach people to need you; let your life form a godly, sustainable pattern for how they’ll live after you’re gone.

  • Even though Heaven is our ultimate home as believers, we need to take seriously the nation where God has placed us and steward our time there with courageous intensity to the glory of God.

  • Forgive as you have been forgiven. Jesus takes this kind of obedience seriously.

  • Jesus Christ is the King of kings, and all truth flows from that Truth. Live through Him, and tell the Truth.
